OroCommerce vs. the fully #composable platforms "they" told you to look at. I am not against composable builds, but the reality is most #B2B businesses are not prepared to successfully support them. Why?Because you have to go source + support your "toppings". Want tomatoes on your taco? Then it is time to head to the farmers market, pick 'em, wash 'em, cut 'em, and make sure they fit inside without spilling over 😂 ...want some Beef? head to the butcher, so on and so forth...Or....if you're like me and don't like sour cream, you'll just ask for it on the side. In a taco shell, this is how OroCommerce works. Use what you want and lose what you don't. Or add it. Want to spice up your taco? Go find your favorite hot sauce and put it on. OroCommerce's API-first + open-source architecture allows you to make your own taco without the price + hassle of sourcing and supporting each topping. #Cloud #B2B #eCommerce #MACH #composable #headless #API #opensource

Nice analogy. Why bother with headless/composable/new-tech marketing-jargon when what you do best is source and distribute products? Focus on selling, not catching on to the next eCommerce tech wave.

Unpopular opinion:Headless for B2B is mostly a crazy, unnecessary nightmare (unless it's the native architecture of the core/monolithic platform providing the front + back end). Some use cases require it but certainly not all or even most...

In case you weren't aware OroCommerce also powers #Marketplace. Our customer, PartsBase Inc. is a shining example of this. It was a pleasure to attend their live event, PBExpo, and meet some of their customers in person.
