Last week at #HUG2024, Redaptive had an incredible opportunity to showcase our Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) and Smart Metering solutions. It was enlightening to learn firsthand from Honeywell's customers about the sustainability, financing, and energy optimization challenges they are navigating. The insights we gained from these discussions only reinforced our commitment to expanding the reach of EaaS and Smart Metering tools to more organizations. During the event, leaders from Redaptive, Microsoft, and Honeywell came together to delve into topics like Sustainability, Project Funding, Tax Incentives, and Building Management Technologies, sharing expertise and guidance. Now is the time for #REITs to put their decarbonization and resilience strategies into effect. According to a recent survey by JLL more than three quarters of lease renewals from the top 100 occupiers in eight U.S. markets will be tied to carbon commitments. JLL predicts a supply shortage of low-carbon space. It urges tenants to look beyond green building certifications to measure buildings’ operational environmental performance, including energy intensity and emissions. While technology and data capture are essential to achieving sustainability goals, few firms have the visibility they need. “Corporates should use technology and data to implement decarbonization and resilience strategies now. If your organization has decarbonization goals but is not exactly sure how to achieve them, you’re definitely not alone. A recent Siemens white paper points out that only 17 percent of companies have the necessary policies and strategies in place to meet their emissions targets.
